Good News | 3 Hongsam New Products and Technology Are Selected into the "Textile Vision - 2024 Specialized, High-end and Innovation-driven New Technologies and New Products Recommended Catalog of Textile Industry"

To advance the execution of the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Textile Industry" and the "Action Outline for Building a Modernized Textile Industry System (2022-2035)", it is essential to expedite the adoption of key new technologies and products from specialized, high-end, and innovation-driven small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the textile sector. This initiative aims to guide and support the evolution of these SMEs towards a more specialized, high-end, and innovation-focused trajectory. Additionally, a resource-sharing platform will be established within the textile industry to facilitate mutual exchange, resource expansion, advantage complementarity, and the creation of win-win scenarios. The goal is to foster innovation and integrated development across upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises, as well as among large, medium, and small enterprises within the industrial chain. This effort will lead to the establishment of a modernized textile industry system driven by scientific and technological innovation, while also nurturing new quality productivity. In this context, the Industry Development Department of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, in collaboration with the Textile Vision Science & Education Foundation, has organized and compiled a selection of specialized, high-end, and innovation-driven new technologies and products in the textile industry. Following a thorough screening and expert evaluation process, 87 new products and 42 new technologies have been included in the "Textile Vision - 2024 Specialized, High-end and Innovation-driven New Technologies and New Products Recommended Catalog of Textile Industry." Among these, three Hongsam new products and technologies have been recognized, comprising two new products (JETALL water-based environmentally friendly latex ink and water-based nano pigment ink) and one new technology (key technology for producing digital inkjet inks).



Hongsam "JETALL®" water-based latex ink is a fully water-based, eco-friendly ink that prioritizes sustainability. By integrating OP ink with both white and colored inks, latex printers can effectively print on a wide range of non-absorbent and semi-absorbent materials, regardless of their color, at room temperature. This significantly expands the applications of water-based inks. The ink allows for on-demand inkjet printing on various surfaces, including dark and light leathers, PVC, PP, PET, coated paper, and car stickers, without the need for pre-coating. While maintaining environmental standards, "JETALL®" inks offer excellent color vibrancy and durability, enhancing overall printing efficiency. Hongsam's "JETALL®" water-based latex inks address the challenges of imaging and durability on non-absorbent substrates, boasting high light fastness. Their eco-friendly properties make them suitable not only for the advertising and printing sectors but also for addressing specific needs in the textile market. Many textiles, such as down jacket materials, sunscreen fabrics, and knitted shoe fabrics, often require specialized processes like blending, weaving, and coating, which can hinder digital printing capabilities. However, Hong-Jet® latex printing solutions effectively overcome these challenges, providing robust functionality for these materials.


HONGSAM water-based nano pigment ink is built on two patented technologies held by HONGSAM: "Nano Digital Textile Pigment Inkjet Ink and Its Production Process" (ZL200610026595.3) and "An Inkjet Ink for Digital Printing of Blended Fabrics" (ZL201110298174.7). The first patent represents a pioneering domestic innovation in nano digital pigment inkjet technology and serves as a foundational patent. This innovative ink disrupts the market dominance of foreign competitors, significantly lowering costs for users in digital imaging and printing. In the imaging sector, Hongsam's water-based pigment ink can be applied directly to a variety of papers, including photo paper, coated paper, and rice paper, with printed materials capable of lasting indoors for up to a century. In the realm of digital textile printing, this ink can be used on fabrics such as pure cotton, wool, polyester-cotton blends, Lycra, polyester, acrylic, and cotton blends, resulting in soft, vibrant prints with excellent color fastness. As inkjet printing technology evolves, Hongsam's water-based pigment ink continues to receive enhancements.


The "Key Technology for Producing Digital Inkjet Inks" encompasses 11 patented inventions, 6 technological achievements recognized by Henan Province, and 9 national industry standards established by HONGSAM. Six products from Hongsam have been included in the "Recommended Catalogue of Advanced Technologies for Energy Saving and Emission Reduction" by the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association. Additionally, these products have successfully achieved OEKO-TEX certification and have undergone testing for 201 substances in compliance with EU REACH regulations. The various safety and environmental protection metrics have met the advanced standards set by the EU, earning the EU Green Pass and fulfilling the requirements for sustained high-speed printing with new printers.
